This is a municipality with an area of 120 km² and a population of only about 5,000 inhabitants. It is the least populated part of the island of and is known locally as Es Amunts, a name that references the abundant cliffs, pine-clad mountains and streams.

San Juan also boasts some of the finest beaches of Ibiza, including Benirrás beach where you can enjoy the best sunsets on Ibiza, the bay of Portixol in an area of the purest nature, and on the road that leads to Portinatx lie numerous coves: Cala Xarraca, S’illot des Renclí and Cala Xuclar, all just a few miles from Casa Cova.

The house itself stands in almost 150,000 m² of land cultivated with almond and orange trees. The 300 m² living area offers the ultimate in tranquility and comfort throughout its 5 bedrooms (with en-suite washing facilities), 2 bathrooms (one with a Jacuzzi), a huge and very modern kitchen leading on to a dining room for ten with a fireplace and ancient bread oven.

An enormous living room opens out onto a large covered porch area with another dining area for 10 and a chill-out area replete with sofas.

Since the property is available to rent all year round it has full central heating in addition to air conditioning throughout.

Outside in the 1,000 m² garden there is another dining area by the barbecue and a fabulous salt water swimming pool, with shower, accompanied by a 6 person Jacuzzi from which to marvel at the spectacular views of the north coast of the island of Ibiza.

Casa Cova is located in the north of the island of Ibiza, to reach the holiday home follow the road from Ibiza to San Juan (C-733) and take the exit that leads to Portinatx (C-733 ), after approximately 1,8 km there is a turning to the left along a paved secondary road. Follow this for 1.3 km then, after a sharp bend, take the turning to the right signposted Cala Xarraca.
